Meet Paul
Using a combination of formal training and personal experience drawn from almost 30 years in the personal training business, Paul helps his clients increase vitality, decrease stress and improve their body’s function. He enjoys working with everyone but specializes in fitness over 40. His calm approach to success in fitness is like his approach to success in any endeavor: “Just keep showing up!”
Paul holds a personal training certification from the American Council on Exercise and is a Chek IMS level 3. He’s also a level one C.H.E.K. HLC practitioner, a physical therapy aide and a member of IDEA. Paul is a former nationally-ranked amateur alpine snowboard racer, now retired, and he draws from that to specialize in snow-sports performance, including alpine and freestyle skiing and snowboarding. He works with local snow sports athletes by assisting in training and sponsorships. He also holds several powerlifting records.
You may have seen Paul’s name in publications like the Reno News and Review, Fairways and Green Golf and the Thunder Canyon newsletter. He’s been a speaker at the Reno Chapter of the Association of Perioperative Nurses, the Nevada Health Forum and for the patients of the Western Bariatric Institute. Additionally, he has been featured as a News Channel 4 Fitness expert and participated as the featured trainer on other sports-related segments.
Paul specializes in adult fitness, strength training, corrective exercise, total wellness and back care.
